WARRIOR GROUP WINS SUBCONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR AT CONSTRUCTION WEEK KSA AWARDS 2025
Shortlisted across six categories, Warrior Group takes home the top prize in Riyadh against one of the toughest competitive fields in the awards' history.
Warrior Group was named Subcontractor of the Year at the Construction Week KSA Awards 2025, held on 5 November at the Voco Riyadh Hotel. The win came after the group was shortlisted across six categories.
This year’s edition drew nearly 250 entries from over 90 companies across 20 award categories, making the Subcontractor of the Year win a genuinely competitive result. Warrior Group was also shortlisted in Project Manager of the Year, Inspiring Woman of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Construction Executive of the Year, and Specialist Contractor of the Year, a spread that reflects both the range of the group’s operations and the depth of the team behind them.
The Subcontractor of the Year category recognises firms delivering specialised services, whether MEP, façade, specialist construction, or, in Warrior Group’s case, adventure and leisure infrastructure, which demonstrate technical excellence, reliability, and clear value creation for clients and main contractors. For Warrior Group, the award reflects a year of active project delivery in Saudi Arabia, including the AlUla Adventure Hub with the Royal Commission, projects at the Red Sea, and ongoing adventure installations across the Kingdom’s giga-project landscape.
The breadth of the shortlist is equally significant. Shortlisting for Inspiring Woman of the Year and Rising Star of the Year reflects a team that is developing genuine individual talent, a dimension of Warrior Group’s KSA operations that is rarely visible in output-focused industry recognition. The Construction Executive of the Year and Specialist Contractor of the Year nominations add to a picture of an organisation that is being assessed seriously across both its people and its delivery.
Saudi Arabia’s construction market has been operating at exceptional pace, underpinned by Vision 2030’s infrastructure and tourism programmes. Against that backdrop, the pressure on specialist firms to perform consistently and to compete on quality as well as commercial terms has intensified.
Being recognised at the market’s most prominent industry awards, with a win and five additional shortlist positions, confirms Warrior Group’s position as one of the KSA construction sector’s most credible specialist operators.
Troy Gillham, CEO and Founder of Warrior Group, attended the evening in Riyadh alongside the group’s leadership team.
