Warrior Group was shortlisted in three categories at the Construction Week Middle East Awards 2025, held on 20 November at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai. The three nominations: Construction Executive of the Year for Troy Gillham, Hospitality and Leisure Project of the Year for LuxeGlamp in Umm Al Quwain, and Specialist Contractor of the Year for Warrior Group, reflect the range of what the group has delivered across people, projects, and specialist capability.

This year’s edition was the largest in the awards’ history, with over 500 entries from companies across the Middle East, up significantly on previous years. Twenty-three award categories were contested, spanning projects, individuals, and companies, with independent judging panels assessing entries against delivery performance, sustainability credentials, commercial outcomes, and team capability.

Troy Gillham’s Construction Executive of the Year nomination recognised his leadership of Warrior Group through a period of significant expansion across GCC. The category recognises senior leaders who drive organisational success through vision, strategy, and measurable business impact.

The LuxeGlamp nomination in Hospitality and Leisure Project of the Year was a significant shortlisting for a project that represents Warrior Group’s most ambitious move into adventure-led hospitality. Set within the ancient mangrove reserve of Umm Al Quwain, LuxeGlamp was delivered by Warrior Group’s construction subsidiary and involved the construction of elevated walkways and the installation of ten fully serviced luxury eco-domes, creating a destination that combines ecological sensitivity with genuine luxury. The Hospitality and Leisure Project of the Year category recognises excellence in delivering hotels, resorts, and leisure facilities, with judges assessing innovative design, guest experience, and delivery execution.

The Specialist Contractor of the Year nomination acknowledged Warrior Group’s broader construction capability, the ability to deliver technically demanding, non-standard facilities in challenging environments across two active markets. That combination of adventure infrastructure expertise, safety certification, and modular deployment capability is precisely what the specialist contractor category is designed to recognise.

This follows a year in which Warrior Group has been recognised across both KSA and UAE, alongside continued delivery and expansion across its core markets

“We’re pleased to be shortlisted across multiple categories this year. It reflects the work of our team and the trust our clients and partners place in us. Thank you to everyone we’ve worked with over the past year.”
